We're pleased to announce that our latest release,
Aspects of Rail - Volume 2, is now available.
Until the 31st January 2010, you can buy both
Aspects of Rail - Volume 1 and Aspects of Rail - Volume 2,
for a special offer price of £25.
Volume 1 includes footage
from Germany (Deutsche Bundesbahn and
Reichsbahn traffic, Berlin 1990, Köln 1991),
South Africa (South African Cape, 1997),
China (Chengde Steelworks Branch in 2000) and the
United Kingdom (Stafford 2001, Birmingham New Street 2005, Wolverhampton
2007). The China section includes footage previously included in our
withdrawn VHS programmes "Standard Gauge Steam in China, Volumes 1 and 2".
Volume 2 features the Maclear branch in South Africa, we say
farewell to steam in snow covered Ukraine, show SY steam locos
at work on the Baotou Steelworks railway in China, and visit the
diesel hotspot that is Water Orton in the UK, for some freight
and passenger action.
